Escape the summer heat - in the ice skating rink

Here's a perfect way to cool off in the sultry summer heat - gliding on ice with the wind in your hair at the Sydney Ice Arena.

The Arena also offers ice skating with twist - leave sweaty club nights behind with Disco nights on ice. You and your date can swap out killer heels for a pair of wicked skates every Friday night. With thub-thumping tunes, disco ball lights and the latest music videos on the Arena's big screens, we invite you to groove with us!

And for those you looking for a bigger challenge in the rink, the Olympic sized Sydney Ice Arena also offers Ice Hockey Development sessions every Sunday morning, from 8.30 to 10.30. Lessons by professional ice hockey coaches cost just $15, inclusive of all necessary equipment.

For more information, check out their site here.

If Sydney Ice Arena happens to be out of the way for you, here are other rinks you can cool off at on a hot summer's day.
