In the shade of the Supertrees

If you feel the need to bring your loved one somewhere novel, how about a magical evening at Gardens by the Bay, the latest glam addition to our City in a Garden?

The stars of the show are obviously the twin climate-controlled domes, which you need an entrance ticket for. The Cloud Forest takes you on a winding path up through a mist that many visitors have compared to the mystical world of Pandora in the Avatar movie. The Flower Dome mimics the sunshine and dry, cool air of a European summer, complete with rows of flower beds and pretty benches to relax on.

But don’t discount the Supertrees, which put on a nightly light and sound symphony that is absolutely free of charge. Lean back with your loved one under the shade of these half man-made, half living and growing giants and be lost in the sounds of the forest.
