Weekly Obsession: Veuve Clicquot Shakkei Rosé Collection
Spring bubbly champagne for lighter happier moods
Welcome spring this year with open arms and a glass of bubbly rosé in our hands. Inspired by the landscape art of Japanese gardens, VC launches their new Shakkei collection of rosé champagne.
Japanese tea parties can now be altered to Japanese boozy brunch parties with this light and fruity champagne bearing a tinge of rose. Shakkei art involves incorporating nature into a landscape art design, similarly VC captures the beauty of the spring flowers and uses it to wrap its rosé champagne bottles, honouring the renewal of nature this season.
Beautifully light and refreshing VC brings these delicate flowers to life.
Each bottle is dressed in a kimono styled box (priced at HK$528) while the flower garden box which holds two flutes and a rosé bottle that unwraps like a cherry blossom tree, petal by petal (priced at HK$728).
We’ve got to hand it to Veuve Clicquot for making us see life through rosé tinted glasses.
The Veuve Clicquot Shakkei Rosé Collection will be available from March 2013 in Watson’s Wine, Citysuper, Rare & Fine Wines and Oliver's The Delicatessen.
